Graduation 2026
SENIOR DEBTS:
Senior Debts are due before they can graduate. All debts must be paid in full no later than NOON on Thursday, May 7th.
The last day to pay by check is Friday, May 1st. After May 2nd, debts must be paid in cash or by money order. You can also pay on PaySchools - PaySchoolsCentral.com
SENIOR LAST DAY IN CLASSES:
Monday, May 11th – Seniors will turn in laptops on Friday, May 1st. Any senior that does not return a laptop will have fees assessed that must be paid prior to graduation.
SENIOR BREAKFAST/AWARDS/WALK:
When: Tuesday, May 12th
Arrival: Seniors will report to their first period class at 7:25. Students with late arrival should report to the auditorium at 7:25, regardless of their normal arrival time.
Breakfast: 7:30am – 8:15am – this is a parent-sponsored event. PTO will reach out with details.
Senior breakfast is for Seniors only (i.e NO parents, grandparents).
Awards: 8:30am – 10:00am
Parents/Guardians can arrive @8:20 to be seated in the gym. Parents can park in student parking lot.
Farwell Walk: 10:00am – 10:55am parents can line the Hall of Fame and Class Picture Hallway. Students will walk the building and come back through to the hall of fame to meet their family and walk out the student exit.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL:
This is REQUIRED to walk at the Nutter Center on the May 14th!!
When: Wednesday, May 13th from 7:25am – 12:55pm
Graduates will report to the gym, where they will receive their cap and gown and have graduation rehearsal. Immediately following rehearsal, graduates will put on their caps and gowns and ride the school buses to the elementary schools to walk through for a “clap out.” Graduates will then return to Stebbins to finish up rehearsal before dismissing at 12:55.
COMMENCEMENT AT NUTTER CENTER:
When: Thursday, May 14th at 7pm.
Arrival: Graduates should arrive at 6:15pm, park in lot 9, and enter McLin gym to line up. Family and friends will park in Lots 1 and 2 and enter through the main doors at 6:30pm.
Parents/guests are NOT permitted backstage at any time before or after the ceremony.
Number of Guests Permitted: At this time, Nutter Center has not placed any restrictions on the number of guests who may attend for each student. **You do not need a ticket to attend graduation.
Special Accommodations: Guests who require special accommodations, such as wheelchair seating, should reach out to the Nutter Center for Guidance.
Attire for Graduates: Graduates should wear school appropriate “nice” clothing underneath their gown – dark dress pants with a light-colored dress shirt, or a light-colored dress that is not longer than the length of the gown. Low-heeled shoes are recommended, as graduates will be walking up and down stairs.
Diplomas: Graduates will receive an empty diploma cover onstage during the ceremony. Immediately after the ceremony, the graduates will be directed backstage to receive their actual diploma. Parents are NOT permitted backstage during this time – the graduates can exit the McLin Gym doors or exit back into the main Nutter Center arena after they receive their diploma.
Photos: Expression’s studios will take photos of the graduates receiving their diploma on stage. There will be an insert in your envelope that you will receive after the ceremony with ordering information. Parent and guests may take pictures from their seats.
